The TMEC Centre of Excellence offers a range of spaces and options including the two spaces featured below, as well as the Simulated Work Environment for structured business learning and smaller rooms for temporary offices or meeting areas for those temporarily doing business on the North West Coast. Meeting Room Hire

Community View Room

Our open learning training room can accommodate larger groups and can be confugured to your requirements. There are adjoining spaces that can be utilised for breakout groups if required. The training room can currently accommodate 44 people (allowing 2sqm per person) dependent on room configuration and there are a number of tables that can be configured as you need.

Facilities include access to 360 degree smart video confrencing camera and microphone, wireless internet, 75 inch LED stand mounted television (HDMI and bluetooth connectivity), whiteboard, data projector and projection screen.  

The Collaboration Room

The Collaboration Room can currently accommodate 22 people (allowing for 2sqm pp) dependent on configuration. This fully enclosed room is perfect for breakout sessions or for discreet meetings and discussions. 

Facilities include access to 360 degree smart video confrencing camera and microphone, wireless internet, 65 inch LED wall mounted television (HDMI and bluetooth connectivity), whiteboard, data projector and projection screen.

Room Rates (inc GST)

TMEC Members: $165  full day, $90 4 hours or less.
Non-members: $275 full day, $140 4 hours or less.

Catering

Unlimited tea and coffee is included. For morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, hirers are requested to arrange their own however we’re also happy to recommend some nearby caterers.

Room Setup

We request any changes to room configuration are undertaken by the hirer and then returned to position at the end of the booking. Where possible, and if available, we’ll offer access the day prior to your booking for setup.

Clean Up

We require all hirers to ensure the rooms are left clean and tidy and that all food, plates, cups and water bottles are cleared away and recycled where possible. We may charge a fee if additional cleaning is necessary. 

Induction

We will forward a site induction slide pack on confirmation of your booking. You will be asked to confirm that you have read and are familiar with and agree to comply with the information in the pack for the safety of your guests.
