The 2019 conference theme was ‘The Bigger Picture‘.

Day – TMEC Advanced Manufacturing program of speakers

Evening – Joint Networking Event that welcomed the attendance of both Advanced Manufacturers and Minerals & Explorations groups.

An informal networking evening was held at Timbre Kitchen at Velo Wines, Legana.  The Function included all drinks (beer, wine and soft drink) with a variety of canapes and small dinner portions featuring local produce served throughout the evening.

Day – ‘Crossover’ topics relevant to both Advanced Manufacturers and Minerals & Explorations delegates.

Evening – Consisted of a Joint Networking Event that welcomed the attendance of both Advanced Manufacturers and Minerals & Explorations groups. This was a 3-course dinner hosted at Peppers Silo Hotel, 89-91 Lindsay Street, Invermay.  Keynote speaker, AFL legend Kevin Sheedy was a feature of the evening.

Day – Part 2: AusIMM Delprat Lecture Series featuring Emeritus Professor JP Franzidis, a well-known retired academic with a long career at the University of Queensland and University of Cape Town. The lecture topic was sustainability in the minerals industry.
