A new pathway into Tasmania’s industries

Thinking about a career change? Returning to the workforce? Looking for stable local employment?

The TasPorts Industry Pathway Program, delivered in partnership with TMEC, is designed for people looking to explore new career opportunities, return to the workforce or take the next step in their employment journey.

Gain practical skills, recognised training, workplace experience and direct connections with employers across Tasmania’s minerals, manufacturing, energy, maritime, logistics and port industries.

No previous industry experience required.

Commitment: Approximately 2 days per week over 5 weeks

Location: TMEC Manufacturing Centre of Excellence, 13 Wellington Street, South Burnie

Cost: Free to eligible participants
